Peter E. Nyagah holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Advanced Accounting and Auditing from the Marathwada University, Aurangabad India (1995) a Certificate in Credit Management, ICM-Institute of Credit Management (2000), Certificate in Marketing MSK (2009), Microfinance Trainer of Trainers – E Learning course (2012), CPM-Certified Profession Mediator- Strathmore School of Dispute Resolution (2023) and currently pursuing a Masters in Counselling and Psychology – KEMU Kenya Methodist University 2023 - 2025.
He is an alumni of Nairobi School, Nairobi, 1986-1989 (‘O’ Levels); St. Peter’s Upper Primary School, Ishiara, Embu 1982-1985, British International School, New Delhi India 1978-1982; and Nyeri Primary, Nyeri 1975-1978 (lower Primary Level).
Peter E. Nyagah has worked in various positions in several corporate institutions from 1995 with a career span of almost 30 years. He has over 20 years in ICT software sales and has travelled widely in Africa helping to digitize and implement solutions. In 2020 to 2022 he solely assisted the Insurance Regulatory bodies of Zambia and Malawi digitize their Insurance Motor car stickers from manual form to a digital sticker. He is a performance driven commercially astute and well experienced corporate executive with incisive ability to strategize and execute forward thinking revenue generating solutions.
Peter E. Nyagah was appointed in April 2023 as the first Non-Advocate Commissioner in the history of Kenya
